Kenya election: Uhuru Kenyatta 'wins vote count'

Uhuru Kenyatta appears has emerged the winner of the presidential election as he lead the provisional vote count by majoruty.

Mr Kenyatta who is wanted by the international criminal court for crimes against humanity, risks losing losing out in the overall result if the high number of rejected ballots should be included in the final tally of votes cast.

According to BBC , He is accused of fuelling communal v. iolence after the 2007 election that saw more than 1,000 people killed and 600,000 forced from their homes.

But the official result will be released later today
