Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
Wednesday arrested Aminu Lamido's eldest son of the Jigawa State
Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido over money laundering allegations.
He was arrested at the Aminu Kano International Airport at about 12.30 am on his way to Cairo, Egypt.
It was learnt that the
governor's son declared $10,000 at the counter, while further search and
interrogation led to the uncovering of another $40,000, which was
concealed in his luggage.
He was promptly arrested by the EFCC officials.
