8 million naira was paid to Nkiru Sylvanus kidnappers to get her released

Police in Owerri Imo State confirmed during a press briefing yesterday that The actress family paid the sum of 8million Naira to her abductors before she was released on thursday.
The commissioner of police claimed that the money was paid without the knowledge of the police.

The police are not happy that the family went against their warnings by negotiating with the abductors and also went behind them to pay the 8million naira. police ar still investigating the case and have also made some arrests.
